What stops anyone from just ripping it off the van?

It uses 3M high bond adhesive to create a secure seal. If removal is attempted, the unit triggers a two-second warning followed by a 30-second full alarm. The adhesive is stronger than screw-in systems and does not damage the vehicle.

How long do the batteries last?

In standby mode, batteries can last up to six months. With daily use, typical battery life ranges from 2 to 4 months.

How do I replace the batteries?

Follow the simple instructions in the booklet. Each compartment uses 3 AAA batteries and the process takes under 5 minutes.

How will I know when the batteries need replacing?

Can I get it off and use it on my next vehicle?

Yes, you can remove the base once the alarm is separated from it. A new base can be purchased to reinstall the unit on a different vehicle.
